The National Council on Relationships and Disability (NCORAD) is an international organization established to foster improved healthcare outcomes by elevating the standards for and quality of interpersonal and sexual health and wellness services and research by multidisciplinary clinicians.
NCORAD develops standards for undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education, training, professional ethics, and the clinical practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation in relation to relationships and intimacy for people with disabilities.
NCORAD offers opportunities to advance clinical training through agency in-services, guest lectures, & online webinars for multidisciplinary clinicians such as PT, OT, RT, & Nursing.
To improve the interpersonal and sexual health and wellness of individuals with disabilities by enhancing clinical applications and patient outcomes via clinician education, training, and certifications.
To advance multidisciplinary clinical practice, education, and research through standard setting, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and informatics.

NCORAD will offer opportunities to earn continuing education hours through advanced clinical training, online courses, and the annual conference.
NCORAD will reinforce its dedication to professional excellence for the protection of consumers through a nationally recognized and validated certification for multidisciplinary clinicians. Professional recognition will be granted by NCORAD to individuals who apply and meet established standards for certification including education, experience, and continuing professional development. The Certified Relationships and Disability Specialist (CRDS) credential will be offered to qualified individuals based on these stringent requirements.
